It has been a little over a year since my last post. I've been meaning to get back into blogging but every time I try I have become distracted by other things. A lot has happened in the past year. I've now got a good start on my home theater system. Over the past year I've bought a
surround sound receiver,
HDTV, and a new computer. I still have a ways to before my setup is complete to my satisfaction. I'll take more time in the future to talk about my setup. More recently (in February) I've acquired an
iBook G4 with a broken screen to do
Garageband work. It was usable but I was getting tired of it, so about a week ago I bought a
Acer laptop so I could either emulate or run naively
Mac OS X (
x86) and still be able to do all the same things as I can do with my desktop (but on the go). It's been exactly a year (this month) since I bought my desktop computer and for the same price I've paid for my desktop, one year ago I got this laptop which is on par in every way with my desktop except graphics (since I've added a
graphics card) and
RAM.
